Kalopetra Monastery
Following the road from the Valley, for 2 km, to the top of the green hill you will find the monastery of Kalopetra. Kalopetra was built in 1784 by the exiled Greek Prince of Walachia, Alexander Ypsilantis. The location of the monastery offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the Valley of Butterflies.
